Applicant: Buhl Highway District

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Burley Field Office received an application from the Buhl Highway District (BHD) for a Free Use Permit (FUP) of mineral materials from a new mine site near Lily Grade Road. Through their application, the BHD requested a permit for a ten-year term to mine 180,000 tons of basalt rock on BLM public lands in Twin Falls County, Idaho for road maintenance and construction.
